ADD THE "OUTSIDE MEASUREMENT" WIDTH AND HEIGHT TOGETHER. For example, lets say you would like a FRAMED MIRROR that is 19 1/2 X 38 or a combined width and height of 57 1/2 (19.5 +38.0 = 57.5)

Purchase the MIRROR with a combined width and height that is the same or larger than the one you want. For example the 24 x 30 MIRROR has a width and height of 54...but that would not have enough material to make your MIRROR because you will need 57 1/2. The next size 12 x 48 has a combined width plus height of 60 and that will have enough material to make your size.
