Fabric Guidelines: What to Send & What to Know

📐 How Much Fabric Do I Need?

Add 3 inches to both the height and width of your desired board size.
Example: For a 31" x 43" board, send at least 37" x 49" of fabric.

✅ Best Fabric Types

Heavier fabrics with texture hide pinholes better
Avoid sheer or ultra-thin fabrics unless for decorative use only
For frequent use, skip pure white — off-white is less likely to show pin stains or ink transfer

📌Regular vs. French Ribbon Bulletin Boards

Not all fabric boards are the same. When sending us fabric, here’s the difference:

Regular Fabric-Wrapped Cork Board:
Ideal for a bold, modern look... A flat, pin-friendly surface covered in your fabric. Great for notes, reminders, or display — use pushpins to attach items.
French Ribbon Bulletin Board:
Crisscrossed ribbons (with brads) go over your fabric so you can tuck in photos, cards, or papers without using pins. Decorative and functional.

If you just want a regular cork board, no ribbons will be added.
Want a French board? Let us know — we’ll add ribbons and brads in your chosen style.
